Joshua Kapuza is a Yakima native who is proud to serve the community where he was born and raised. He earned his Bachelor’s degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Washington State University, where he double majored in English and History. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law.
While attending law school, Joshua dedicated his time to serving others through volunteer work with Veterans Will Clinics, assisting veterans in preparing important estate planning documents, and with Central Washington Legal Aid in Yakima. His legal education included extensive training in trial advocacy and alternative dispute resolution, providing him with a strong foundation for client-focused legal representation.
Following law school, Joshua spent three years working as a Paralegal, gaining valuable experience in probate administration, estate matters, and real estate transfers. This hands-on experience further strengthened his practical understanding of the legal challenges individuals and families often face.
Admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2026, Joshua focuses his practice on probate, estate planning, guardianships, and real estate transfers. He is committed to providing knowledgeable guidance, clear communication, and personalized solutions to help clients navigate important life and legal decisions with confidence.
Outside the office, Joshua enjoys fishing, snowboarding, playing guitar, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills.
