Tyler Farmer has been serving individuals, families, guardians, and businesses throughout Washington since being admitted to practice law in 2011. A lifelong Yakima Valley resident, Tyler focuses his practice on Guardianship, Estate Planning, Probate, and Business and Real Estate matters. He is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex legal issues with confidence, providing practical guidance and personalized solutions tailored to their unique circumstances.

Throughout his career, Tyler has represented Certified Professional Guardians, lay guardians, families, individuals, and business owners across Washington State. He is known for taking the time to understand each client's goals and concerns, ensuring that thoughtful and effective legal strategies are put in place to protect their interests and provide peace of mind.

Tyler began his legal career with two well-respected Yakima Valley law firms, Pratt & Boutillier, PLLC (now Pratt Boutillier Kirkevold & Farmer, PLLC) and Larson Berg & Perkins, PLLC (now Larson Griffee & Pickett, PLLC). He earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and received his Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University School of Law.

An active member of the legal community, Tyler belongs to the Washington State Bar Association, including its Elder Law Section, the Yakima County Bar Association, the Yakima Estate Planning Council, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Washington Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (WAELA). He is admitted to practice before all Washington State Courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington. Tyler has also served as a presenter at continuing legal education seminars on estate planning and related topics and remains actively involved in the guardianship and elder law communities.

Beyond his legal practice, Tyler is deeply committed to serving the Yakima Valley. He currently serves as President of Yakima Specialties, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing supported employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and sits on the board of the Montessori School of Yakima. Tyler is a past President of the Yakima Estate Planning Council and has also previously served as volunteer legal counsel and Executive Committee member for the Grand Columbia Council of the Boy Scouts of America (now the Chief Seattle Council of Scouting America).

Tyler's roots in the Yakima Valley run deep, and he takes pride in helping local families and businesses plan for the future and protect what matters most. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time outdoors, working on home projects, and making memories with his wife and children and large extended family throughout the Yakima area.
